Sandy Stein
From a very early age, Sandy had a passion for plants, taking great enjoyment in watching seeds blossom into rich plants or flowers. With a desire to pursue that passion professionally, Sandy graduated with a BS in Agriculture from the University of Florida, with a major in ornamental horticulture specializing in landscape design.
Upon graduating, his father purchased the land on which the Jungle Nursery now sits. In 1981, Sandy opened the Jungle Nursery, with a second, larger, opening in 1998.
From 2007 to 2008, Sandy served as president of the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Nursery Growers & Landscape Association (FNGLA). He has also sat on its state Board of Directors since 2004. Proudly, in 2008, Sandy won outstanding chapter president for the state.
Robin Stein
Since 1983, Robin has worked in the horticulture industry in sales. In 1988, she opened her own brokering business, and has been reselling plants successfully ever since, with many 20-plus year relationships firmly in place.
Robin is also expert in logistics and handles freight calculation and follow-up for all Jungle Nursery deliveries. She is also an alumnus of the Wedgworth Leadership Institute for Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Barbara LaClair
The Jungle Nursery Inc. is excited for Barbara LaClair to have joined our team this year. Barb has 23 years experience with specialized sales in foliage, blooming plants, orchids and bromeliads. Throughout her career she has built many long lasting relationships with a broad base of loyal customers. Whether you’re a garden center, interiorscaper, grocery store chain, wholesaler, big box retailer or a home improvement store Barbara will give you the utmost attention you deserve and strive to create more long lasting relationships.
Elisha
Elisha joined ‘The Jungle Nursery’ family in 2006, with a proven background in customer service. She is the friendly voice that greets you when you call the nursery and is generally the first one you meet when visiting our main office. From her beginnings here at the nursery, she has always strived to gain as much knowledge as possible pertaining to our products, customers, and in general, the industry as a whole. As your sales representative she will be an advocate for your company, doing her best to ensure that you always receive excellent quality and service, going that extra mile to gain an edge and satisfy you, the customer.
